psbrands developed a B2C campaign for the launch of herpotherm® neo, the lip herpes stick that works solely through heat.
The campaign features a simple guiding idea and a cross-media concept that communicates the message quickly and effectively. It also includes a “Global Toolbox” that can be adapted to specific markets worldwide.
The challenge: everyone is familiar with patches and creams for lip herpes, but not with the Thermo-Sense Technology behind herpotherm® neo. Therefore, the primary goal was to increase consumer awareness using a pull marketing approach.
herpotherm® neo is a medical device developed by mibeTec GmbH, a medical device manufacturer based in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany.
Our communication goal for the B2C campaign was to position the lip herpes heat stick herpotherm® neo as THE ultimate problem solver that helps quickly manage herpes at the first sign of "I think it’s starting again" tingling. And to clearly convey its unique selling proposition (USP).
The guiding idea is striking and straight to the point: Cold Scores? Just heat them away!
In line with a cross-media approach to target audiences, all channels needed to be considered. The design had to be flexible accordingly, covering everything from video content to the website, from flyers to the amazon shop, and from sales presentations to point-of-sale displays.
Additionally, a comprehensive media toolbox was made available online by psbrands to ensure country-specific access.
Developed by psbrands and written down in a BrandBook that is binding for all countries.
